Upon collection and delivery, the courier must scan your employee’s ID card, the packages and their locks using RFID technology within his handheld device. Only when a match is confirmed can the courier collect or release the packages. This ensures that you receive the right packages and number of packages, every time.
In the unlikely event that the courier is ever separated from any of your packages, his handheld device gives off an immediate alarm and our Command Centre is automatically alerted. This means your packages can be instantly located via GPS and retrieved.
Our Command Centre tracks each and every delivery. Should unavoidable or unforeseen events such as a road accident or vehicle breakdown delay a courier, our Command Centre automatically reroutes his delivery schedule to other couriers so that your deliveries remain on track.
Your deliveries are scheduled through our Command Centre and the details forwarded to the courier’s handheld device. Each instruction must be acknowledged on the handheld device by the authorised signee before the next step in the procedure can be accessed. This closes all possible gaps to ensure a comprehensive audit trail and clear line of accountability.
As an added-value optional service, you can elect to receive receipts and tracking alerts via SMS or email. This way you can track your deliveries, eliminate the risk of sabotage and make alternative arrangements in the event of a delay.
